WordPress offers many types of content. For the present, the site is entirely constructed from:

• Pages? (here)
• Media? (mostly images, here)
• Usually, a single post, containing the 'for your diary?' sidebar content, here
• a few widgets?, offering menus?, social media? feeds, etc, which you shouldn't tinker with unless you really know what you're doing.

To edit the site, you first need to log in by going to https://centreofpendeen.co.uk/wp-admin. This will take you to the dashboard?. You can continue to browse the site while logged in. When you do so, you will see a black bar at the top of each page. This is your key to editing the site.

The most useful elements on this bar are:

• The dashboard? (and, particularly, the admin menu? on its left-hand side): click on the 'The Centre of Pendeen' text near the left to access this.
• The edit page? link, which allows you to -- surprise! -- edit the page you're currently looking at.

You can create a new page from the bar by hovering over the 'new' button, and clicking on 'page' in the drop-down menu, but you're more likely to do so from the admin menu?.

WordPress is very popular and widespread, so if you want to learn more, there's a lot of good tutorial material online. Authoritative documentation is at https://codex.wordpress.org/. You can make your own free WordPress site to learn on at https://wordpress.com/.
